Yes, all of our massage therapists are registered massage therapists (RMTs) in Ontario. You can claim insurance benefits with our RMT massage therapy.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.

• First occurrence: Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend your appointment (“no-show”), will be subject to a charge of 50% of the appointment fee.

• Subsequent occurrences: Any further late cancellations, rescheduling requests, or no-shows will be subject to a charge of 100% of the appointment fee.

This policy helps us respect the time of our practitioners and accommodate other clients on our waiting list.

Kefi Wellness Centre is inside a medical centre with One Health Medical Center Oakville. The building of Kefi Wellness Centre is beside McDonald‘s(on the same side of the street). The clinic is located in the middle of the building, between the restaurants(Crown Pastries, Gladiator Burger, etc.) and Ventre X. The entrance is on the west side and faces McDonald‘s. During the initial visit, the therapist will conduct a series of assessments to determine what are the root causes of the patient’s health conditions. Then the therapist will create a treatment plan that is tailored to tackle the specific health conditions and will discuss the treatment plan with the patient. If the patient agrees, the therapist will start the hand-on treatment right away. In addition to the treatment, please expect to receive some rehabilitative exercise prescription to do at home at your own time which will improve your condition. 

In many cases, improvement of symptoms can be felt immediately after the first treatment, due to a sense of relaxation, increased joint mobility, decreased muscle tension, etc. However, a lasting improvement will usually take 4-6 weeks and up to 6 months, depending on the severity of the condition and treatment plan. For a client who suffers from chronic conditions, ongoing treatment might be needed to maintain the condition.

No. a referral is not required to see any of our therapists. However, depending on your insurance provider, they might require a doctor’s referral for submitting claims. Please check with your insurance provider.
