Best Physiotherapist in Oakville

Physiotherapists practice the science and curing abilities of movement. Physiotherapy is primarily seen in those with mobility issues in order to improve physical function and overall well-being. This is done by combining manual therapies with various modalities, such as electrotherapy, ultrasound therapy, shockwave therapy, hydrotherapy, manual therapy, remedial exercise and patient education.

Our physiotherapists in Okaville take into consideration the distinct needs and goals of each patient when determining which treatment(s) should be implemented into their physiotherapy plan. Whether you’ve just had surgery or carry a long-term health condition, physiotherapy is a comprehensive way to address countless afflictions, such as arthritis, back and neck pain, breathing difficulties and issues that may arise after a heart attack or stroke.

Our Team

Nirushan is practising in Ontario as a registered physiotherapist. Nirushan received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. Prior to this, he graduated from McMaster University in the Honours Life Sciences Program with a specialization in Sensory Motor Systems.
His passion for the field of rehabilitation stems from personal experience with Physiotherapy at a young age, which allowed him to return to participation in sports and daily activities. It is now his aim to guide others to achieve the same feat. He has experience working in various units in the hospital, including post-op surgical rehab, inpatient rehab, emergency department, and the ICU, in addition to orthopedic clinics.
Nirushan strongly values the importance of a patient-centred approach to care and believes patients should actively participate in their care plans. He plans to expand his own skillset through continuing education courses in acupuncture/dry needling, advanced manual therapy, and more.
