Are the treatment sessions covered by Insurance?

Yes. All of our services are covered by most insurance companies. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions regarding your insurance plan.

Is the massage provided by RMT?

Yes, all of our massage therapists are registered massage therapists (RMTs) in Ontario. You can claim insurance benefits with our RMT massage therapy.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

At least 24 hours of notice in advance of the scheduled time is needed for cancellation. A warning will be given for cancellation with less than 24-hour notice or a no-show for the first time. Starting from the second time, less than 24-hour cancellations or no-shows are subject to the full appointment fee.

What should I expect in an Initial Assessment?

During the initial visit, the therapist will conduct a series of assessments to determine what are the root causes of the patient’s health conditions. Then the therapist will create a treatment plan that is tailored to tackle the specific health conditions and will discuss the treatment plan with the patient. If the patient agrees, the therapist will start the hand-on treatment right away. In addition to the treatment, please expect to receive some rehabilitative exercise prescription to do at home at your own time which will improve your condition.

How much are the treatments?

What types of payment do you accept?

We can directly bill most of the insurance companies. We also accept Debit Cards and Credit cards.

How many treatments should I expect to see improvement?

In many cases, improvement of symptoms can be felt immediately after the first treatment, due to a sense of relaxation, increased joint mobility, and decrease muscle tension, etc. However, a lasting improvement will usually take 4-6 weeks and up to 6 months, depending on the severity of the condition and treatment plan. For a client who suffers from chronic conditions, ongoing treatment might be needed to maintain the condition.

Do I need a referral or prescription to start treatment?

No. a referral is not required to see any of our therapists. However, depending on your insurance provider, they might require a doctor’s referral for submitting claims. Please check with your insurance provider.
